About us

African Leadership is a community development organization focused on strengthening families through education and sustainable livelihoods. We work with children and adults together, recognizing that long-term progress depends on stable households as well as access to schooling.

We focus on two core areas: education for children and sustainable livelihoods for adults. Our schools provide safe, structured learning environments where children can learn and thrive. Alongside education, we support adults—particularly women and single mothers—in building practical skills and income sources that strengthen household stability.

Our livelihood programs include sustainable fish farming, which increases local food supply while creating reliable income. African Leadership currently operates four fish farms, each producing approximately 5 tons of fish per year and generating an average annual income of $15,800. These farms help reduce food costs while supporting pond owners living in severe poverty.

To date, African Leadership has established more than 40 schools, provided over 1,800 scholarships, and expanded its programs across multiple countries. By integrating education with livelihood initiatives that generate reliable food and income, we reduce long-term vulnerability and support lasting household resilience.

Every donation supports community programs, with no administrative deductions. Our work is grounded in shared investment, local participation, and measurable outcomes that strengthen families and communities.
