We take a TWO-GENERATION approach to community development. African Leadership invests in children’s education while creating reliable income pathways for adults. By addressing learning and livelihoods together, we address root causes of instability and help families build stronger, more secure futures.
Across multiple countries, we support children with access to education and year-round care. Families also benefit from livelihood initiatives that provide reliable food security and household income. Together, these efforts improve LONG-TERM OUTCOMES for children, parents, and entire communities.
African Leadership works through a HOLISTIC, COMMUNITY-CENTERED MODEL. Children learn in safe environments, while adults gain skills through entrepreneurship, construction projects, and fish farming. Supporting both generations strengthens families and creates progress that lasts beyond our involvement.

From survival to success
Before the training, I didn’t know how to grow my business. I just did what I thought was best. But now, I have a clear plan and the tools to improve. I learned that by thinking big and starting small, we can turn small ideas into something great. This training is helping not only my business, but also Madagascar’s economy by bringing people together and building stronger businesses and communities.
Entrepreneurship training has been instrumental in helping me set clear goals and break them down into smaller, actionable steps to reach success.
